1. Find the website for a professional or Olympic sports team of your choosing. Then find numerical data for two variables for between 12 and 16 players on that team. It is best to choose a sport you are familiar with.
• Do not use the same data that are in the sample project.
• Your data can come from any national team or international sports team. You can choose counts and/or percentages.
• Tip: Look for a STATS tab or link on your team’s homepage. Data may also be listed under PLAYERS or CLUBS.
• Tip: If you do not find enough data, try a different sport, try sorting the data differently (perhaps by regular season instead of postseason), or use data from a previous season.
2. Open your presentation and follow the directions to complete the Research: Data Tables slide.
• Fill in the tables with data from your website. If the site gives data for more than 16 players, you should decide which players to use in your project. Ideas for selection include players who have played the most games or have the highest ranking in a category. Note that selecting a column heading will often sort the data by that heading
