Linear negative association would be the opposite of the linear positive. The plot would sloping upward to the left. As the x increases, the value of y would decrease. Nonlinear positive association would be almost the same as the linear positive however the data do not form a line. It may be form a curve. Nonlinear negative would be also almost the same as the linear negative only that the data do not form a line.
