A surveyor is trying to measure the distance across a lake. A surveyor places a marker on both sides of the lake to make a straight line across. He then measures down the coast Line 32 feet and places another marker forming a large right triangle. The surveyor then
creates a smaller similar right triangle nearby. He measures down the coastline in the
opposite direction he did the first time 12.8 ft, and then measure a straight line away
from the lake 40ft. Using these measurements create 2 similar triangles and find the
distance across the lake.
