Over the summer I went to the county fair. Being a great dad, I brought my daughter with me and promised her that I would win a prize. We looked at all the
games for the one that had the right prize. The prize my daughter wanted was a
NEED HELP NOW PLEASE large Scooby Do stuffed pillow. “Please win that for me daddy,” she said. So I
asked the carnival guy what do I need to do to win the prize. He said, “To win this
prize, you must toss a ring over the bottle. I will give you three rings to toss. One
over the bottle wins the prize.” I looked at my daughter and told her, “Consider it
yours. I am a master at the ring toss and on any given toss, I have a 2/3 chance of
getting the ring over the bottle.” What is the chance that I will win the Scooby Do
thing? She was happy, and so was I.
