Population Statistics:
For this discussion, you will investigate population statistics for either any three
countries, any three states, or any three cities. (You can probably find the most
recent available figures on Wikipedia.) You can choose whichever countries, states
or cities you want. Based on those statistics, answer the following questions:
• Which one has the largest current population? Which one has the smallest?
Which one has the largest current rate of population growth, measured as a
percent? Which one has the smallest?
· Will the largest country/state/city always have the largest rate of growth?
Why or why not?
Using exponential models, make a prediction about the population of your
three countries/states/cities in 10 years.
