A detergent company has a sweepstakes in which 50% of the customers who buy the detergent will receive a free laundry basket. Of the free laundry baskets, 75% are red and 25% are blue. A simulation of the sweepstakes is designed using a spinner with 4 equal sections labeled 1 to 4. To conduct a simulation, the spinner is spun. If the spinner lands on a 1 or 2, the customer wins a laundry basket, and the spinner is spun a second time. If the spinner lands on a 1, 2, or 3 in the second spin, the customer's basket is red.
