April swims for exercise last year she swam for a mean of 40 minutes per day with a standard deviation of 8 minutes per day. For the new year, both girls have resolved to exercise more. In January Terri walked an average of 6 miles per day while April swam for an average of one hour per day. Which girl is off to a better start relation to their results from the previous year?
