SoundCo makes four different models of after-market radios for commercial trucks. Each radio model includes the base radio, a wiring harness, mounting bracket and mounting hardware. For each LD-4 model that SoundCo sells they generate revenue of $279, but incur costs of $109 for the base radio, $18 for a wiring harness, $20 for a mounting bracket, and $8 for mounting hardware. SoundCo management already has orders for 800 model LD-1 radios, and 700 model LD-3 radios that must be met. Management also decided that they will produce no more than 500 model LD-2 radios, as this model has not been popular with the company's customers. SoundCo has limited production capacity, and will not produce more than 2500 total radios.
