Jamie and Terry were given the following problem to solve. ½ (10x +25y +4.2z) Their work is shown below. Terry claimed that Jamie was wrong; however, Jamie claimed that Terry was wrong.

= 5 + 25y +4.2z = 5x + 12.5y + 2.1z

Who is correct? Justify your answer by describing the error(s).
