ask your child if he /she can use a pencil to join the bees that are one more than each number to the flower. then ask him/her to find the bees that are one less than the flower. he/she should should circle these bees and join them to the flower.

1/ 5 less than flower number (6) put on the bee (5) circle. but 9,7,17 join them flower.
