You have been sent to the grocery store to get some groceries for your mom. you see a coupon for a $50 gas card for only $40 if you buy $50 worth of groceries. you know things have been tight at home and every penny counts. you decide to buy the gas card since your total was $55.25 for the items your mom sent you for. you have the money for the card your mom giving you $100 but you know you better be able to justify your spending the additional money. you come up with some questions that you know your mom will ask so you set to getting the answers to them.
based on the cost per gallon at your local service station of $3.489 per gallon and having the $50 gas card that you only paid $40 for you answer these questions.
