A. Always Negative! 

2 Negatives = 1 positive, Odd power = e.g. 3 Negatives/5/7 etc. So it will Always stay Negative. 

E.g. -2,   -2*-2 = 4 (2negative =1  positive)    , -2*-2*-2 = -8 (only the first 2 negatives became positive and after it multiply the last -2, it turns back negative)
