2y = 24 + 4
2y = 28
y = 28/2
y = 14...so one solution is (1,14)

2y - 4x = 24...lets say x = 2
2y - 4(2) = 24
2y - 8 = 24
2y = 24 + 8
2y = 32
y = 32/2
y = 16...so another solution is (2,16)
