if so then the first one is x= -7 + 8

the second one I'm not so sure what it is. sorry.

Okay...but it is not an inequality, it is just a system of equations

y = x - 12so sub in x - 12 for y in the other equation

x + y = 8
x + x - 12 = 8
2x - 12 = 8
2x = 8 + 12
2x = 20
x = 20/2
x = 10

y = x - 12
y = 10 - 12
y = -2

solution is (10,-2)

It’s 24.6 after you round to the nearest tenths the answer should be 25.0
