Ineed to write this 1/2 as a decimal and a fraction

1/2 as a decimal would be 0.5
1/2 as a fraction is 1/2

Hopefully I'm interpreting what your question is correctly, but here is my view.
To get your decimal you would simply divide 1 by 2 to get 0.5
To get your fraction, it is already in fraction form. 1/2 cannot be reduced any further.
