The examples:

1). X=3 or x=4

I used the Desmos calculator after doing the math on a sheet of paper again, and both my answers and the answers on the slide thingy are right.

2). X=0 or x=3

Again, I used Desmos and I also did the equation by hand and they both came out with the same answer. Then I cross checked and they both have the same answer.

3). X=-5 or x=5

First I plugged in the equation, and then I solved the equation, and I got the same answer as the slide. I then punched it into the Desmos calculator, in which I got the same answer as the slide both times.

The do it yourself part:

a=3

b=-6

c=1

x=(-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

x=(6±√(36-12))/(6)

x=(6±√(24))/(6)

x=(6±2√(6))/(6)

x=(3±√(6))/(3)

x≈1.82

x≈.184

Now enter it into word or power point and then wa la, it's as simple as 123, NOT!!
