I'm am going to suppose that it asks how many tiles are (touching) the pool and to not count the extra outer ones, and if that's the case, then the answer is 14/16 or 7/8. [also i think #6 is right] IF IT NEEDS TO KNOW THE LENGTH, THEN IT IS 10.5 (as a decimal).
