F(x)=-x^2+4x+12, g(x)=x+2, If there is a solution y=y, f(x)=g(x) so we can say:

-x^2+4x+12=x+2

x^2-3x-10=0

x^2-5x+2x-10=0

x(x-5)+2(x-5)=0

(x+2)(x-5)=0, so there are two solutions to the system of equations when x=-2 and 5, now find the corresponding y values given y=x+2

y(-2)=-2+2=0  and y(5)=5+2=7 so the two solutions are the two points:

(-2,0) and (5,7)
