How do i solve 5-8÷4×2-1 using order of operations

First;
5-8÷4x2-1, put parenthesis around the multiplication like so; 5-8÷(4x2)-1
Solve the problem in the parenthesis; 4x2=8 so; 5-8÷(8)-1
Then put parenthesis around the division;  5-(8÷(8))-1
Solve the problem within the parenthesis; (8÷(8))=1
The problem should look like this now 5-1-1
Now subtract; 5-1=4-1=3

Your answer is 3.

First, you multiply and divide everything in order from left to right. Meaning you actually get 5-((8/4)*2)-1 (If you first multiply with 2 and divide by 4 you'll get the same result (8*2/4=8/4*2). Then the only thing left to do is subtract so 5-4-1= 0

The last one bc that's a calendar
