I think the correct answer would be C. Comparing two sets of related data on the same graph for the sake of comparison. is not a method used on graphs to lead the reader to misinterpret the graph. Option A would obviously be not the answer since using inconsistent scales on the axes would surely lead the reader to misinterpret the graph. Also, reversing the x- and y-axes to obtain a more convincing graph would also lead to misinterpretation as graphs should be written in dependent variable vs. independent variable form. Lastly, changing the start of the scale of the axes without notifying the reader would also lead to misinterpretation since the reader would not know what changes were done.
