NV / (N - T) = C

V = C(1 - (T/N))...for T ...multiply both sides by N
NV = CN - CT subtract CN from both sides
NV - CN = - CTdivide both sides by -C
(NV - CN) / -C = T or (CN - NV)/ C = T
