The difference in the overall temperature is:

Gas A: -8-(-21)= 13

Gas B:  12-(-12)= 24

Gas C: -15-(-19)= 4

The change in temperature will be negative:

Because the heating of a gas and cooling of a gas are reverse process and when the gases were heated the change was positive ( As seen in part a) ) and hence when they will be cooled the change in temperature will be negative.
