John and Adam were curious to find out if PHS varsity soccer players had a lower resting heart rate than other athletes at Prospect that have an average resting heart rate of 60 pulses per minute. John and Adam took a random sample of 8 varsity soccer players and found their average resting heart rate to be 52 beats per minute with a standard deviation of 7.3094.
