There is a kitten stuck in a tree that you must save. You would climb the tree, but it happens to be located on a tiny island surrrounded by man-eating shark infested waters. Luckilly you have a ladder, but you don't know if it is long enough to reach the kitten. The closest you can put the ladder to the base of the tree is 12 feet. You also know the kitten is 20 feet up the tree. You have a 25 foot ladder. To the nearest tenth of a foot, how long does your ladder need to be to reach the kitten? It needs to be feet long.
Will you be able to save the kitten? Fill in the blank with "yes" or "no"
