c) In case interest is paid half yearly, then the interest is divided by 2, and used

as (R/2) in the formula and the time is multiplied by 2, and used as 2T in the

formula, given by A=P( 1+ (R/200))2T. (2 Marks)

d) In the case interest is paid quarterly, then the interest is divided by 4, and

used as (R/4) in the formula and the time is multiplied by 4, and used as 4T in

the formula, given by A=P(1+(R/400))4T payable quarterly (rate=R/4,
