The estimated attendance for Live 8, a worldwide free concert held in July 2005, was 1.8 million people, including figures near 800,000 in Philadelphia, 300,000 in Paris, and 200,000 in Rome and Berlin.  Do concert officials really count all those in attendance?  How do you suppose these figures are produced? How accurate can these estimates be?
