From the lesson opener. Victor is planning for his family reunion. He has $100 to spend on the food. He has contacted a local burger place and they told him that they would charge $2.50 for each burger and each soda costs $1.25. Victor is investigating different combinations of amounts of burgers and sodas that he can get by spending all of his $100. Letting x represent the number of burgers her can buy and y represent the number of sodas, the following equation can be used to model this situation. 2.50x + 1.25y = 100

a. Solve this equation for slope-intercept form.

b. As an ordered pair, what is the y-intercept of this graph?

c. Describe the meaning of the y-intercept.
