Proportion problems 8 chickens would lay 20 eggs in 3 days.

If chickens always lay eggs at the same rate,

a) how many days would it take for 12 chickens to lay 100 eggs?

=10 days

b)how many chickens would be required if a farmer needed 30 eggs each day?

= 36 chickies

i know answer for a and i know how to do it.

I don't know how to do b I need explaining and I know the answer is 36 but how do u get that answer ° ° °
