For numbers 1 and 2, find a point on the line that can be 0, and then plot the numbers around it.

for number 3, 15 below 0 can be written as -15, because 0-15 is -15.

for number 4, a deposit would mean adding so you would just write 24.

for numbers 5-8, the lines around the number mean absolute value. for example, the absolute value of -4 is 4.

for number 9, adding a negative is the same as subtracting a positive, so the expression can be rewritten as 12-7.

for number 10, since 9 has a greater absolute value than 8, this can be rewritten as 9-8, and then you would make the answer negative.

number 11 can be rewritten as 7-3, and 12 can be rewritten as 7-(-4). for 7-(-4), when subtracting a negative it is the same as adding, so this can be rewritten as 7+4.

for 13, you would do -25-13, which is the same as 25+13, then making the answer negative.
