I DONT UNDERSTAND
Assume 22 and 25 are supplementary. Explain how you would prove that a || b.
A m_2 + m25 = 180, and M22 + m23 = 180. By the Transitive Property of Equality, m-3 = m25. So 23 2 25. Then lines a and are parallel by
the Converse of the Corresponding Angles Theorem
B. M22 + m25 = 180, and m_2 + m21 = 180 By the Transitive Property of Equality, m_1 = m25. So 212 25. Then lines a and are parallel by
the Converse of the Corresponding Angles Theorem
C. m 2 + m25 = 180, and m_2 + m21 = 180. By the Symmetric Property of Equality, m_1 = m25. So 21% 25. Then lines a and D are parallel
by the Converse of the Corresponding Angles Theorem
D. M22 + m25 = 180, and m_2 + m_1 = 180. By the Symmetric Property of Equality, m_1 = m25. So 212 25. Then lines a and bare parallel
by the Converse of the Same-Side Interior Angles Póstulate.
