I’m failing 9th grade, and I’m not good at math, if someone could help me solve this last question for homework I would appreciate it so much!! Solve the equations below, combining like terms first.

7x+3+1x=16+3

Also if anyone can help me solve this I need to know how you done it as to I have to show work on paper. Thank you to anyone/everyone who helps me!!
