Cecil Steps Up to the Challenge Cecil has entered the World Tightrope Championships and needs your help to
design a winning routine for the competition. After reading the rules
handbook, he has learned that the competition will involve a 23-foot long
Tightrope and that there are four requirements for his routine:
• All moves must be 3 feet, 4 feet or 5 feet in length.
• Cecil must cross the center of the rope at least 3 times.
• The routine must include a move of traveling 3 feet six times in a row.
a dazzling move known as the Tres Por Seis
• The routine must include a series of moves that result in traveling
backward 11 feet, also referred to as the Gyara.
Your Task:
Design a routine for Cecil. Then create a display that shows Cecil's
movements both as o diagram and as a numerical expression Color code the
parts of the routine to show how the diagram and expression are connected

1- is the product of two rational numbers irrational or rational? first, make a hypothesis by multiplying two rational numbers. then, use variables such as x=a/b and y=c/d and the closure property of integers to prove your hypothesis. 2- what do you think the product of a nonzero rational number and an irrational number is? is it rational or irrational? make use of variables, the closure property of integers, and possibly a proof by contradiction to prove your hypothesis. 3- why do we have to specify that the rational number must be nonzero when we determine what the product of a nonzero rational number and an irrational number is? if the rational number were 0, would it give us the same result we found in part b?
