Edgar measures the temperature of a solution at the beginning of an experiment to be 23°F . He monitors the temperature of the solution every minute for 10 minutes. He records the change in temperature from his previous reading. His data show a decrease of 2°F four times, a decrease of 3F three times, no temperature & change two times, and an increase of 6°F once. (a) Write an expression that represents the average change in temperature each minute. (b) Edgar repeats the experiment and finds the average change in temperature each minute is 1°F greater in the second trial than in the first trial. What is the average change in temperature each minute in the second trial of the experiment? Show your work.
