     No. These are linear equations so they will keep going in a straight line forever.

c. When is the population of Ridge City double the population of Milmo City?

     30 years. We can set up an equation to solve easily without having to guess from our grpah:

2(t + 6) =  t + 2

t + 12 = t + 2 -> 3(t + 12) = (t + 2)3

4t + 36 = 5t + 6

4t + 30 = 5t

30 = t -> t = 30

d. Explain why Milmo City has a smaller population at the start but will have a larger population after nine years compared to Ridge City.

     The slope of Milmo's population is steeper than Ridge City's population, so Milmo's population climbs much faster than Ridge's, which is why it eventually is larger.
