How do you divide by 10,100,1000

We're dividing will get one thousand times smaller. So we move each of the digits three columns to the right. So the one in the thousands. Will move two three to the right so I'll move to the units.

to divide by 10, you move the number you are dividing over by one

to divide by 100, you move the number you are dividing over by 2

to divide by 100, you move the number you are dividing over by 3
