PLEASE ANSWER QUICK !!! A landscaper charges $30 for each job plus an additional $20 for each hour worked. Write an expression to represent the total cost of a landscape job. Explain what the variable used in the expression represents. Explain how you identified the operations used in the expression.
T= 30 + 20h
T= total cost of landscape job
h= how many hours the landscaper takes to complete the work
You have a starting cost of $30 for each job, which is where the 30 in the equation comes from, plus you have to add on the time it takes him which is $20 per hour so that is h.
Ex: Let's say it took the landscaper 6 hours to complete the work. You simply substitute 6 in for h
T= 30 + 20(6)
T= 30 + 120
So the total cost, if it took the landscaper 6 hours, would be $150
Hope this helps :)
the first one, all those points on the line just make a strait line.
