4,900 rounds to 5,000 because it's closer to 5,000 than it is to 4,000 (make sense?) 1,200 rounds to 1,000 because it's closer to 1,000 than it is to 2,000(get it?) 56,800 rounds to 57,000 because once 800 gets rounded to 10 it adds to the 56,000 making it 57,000; 43,200 rounds to 43,000 because 43,200 is closer to 43,000 than it is to 44,000. (So basically if the number after the decimal (ex. 1,400) is 5 or higher (ex. 1,500) it's 5 so it rounds up to 2,000) (I really hope this makes sense, if it doesn't feel free to message me and I'll help you out, good luck!! <3
