Amajor stadium has 45,000 seats. if baseball fans have bought 5/8 of the seats for the next game, how many seats are available?

if 5/8 were bought then 3/8 are still available ( 5/8 +3/8 = 1)

45000 * 3/8 = 135000/8 = 16,875 seats are still available
