Arecipe calls for 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla extract. if the recipe is doubled, then how much vanilla extract is needed?

At first = 1 / 8 teaspoons
When the recipe is doubles = 1 / 8 x 2
                                            = 1 / 4
Thus, you will need 1 / 4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
