Δ PQR and Δ STU based on the diagrams are congruent triangles which means that each corresponding side of the triangle are equal.

⇒ PR = SU
∴   3y - 2 = y + 4
     3y - y = 4 + 2
          2y = 6
            y = 3

Now, the perimeter of ΔPQR = 4 + (3y - 2) + 6 ft
             since y = 3
  then the perimeter of ΔPQR = 4 + (3(3) - 2) + 6 ft
           the perimeter of ΔPQR =  17 ft
                                                 

Im pretty sure it would be 6 purple rectangles.
