Can use table of values.or you can graph using transformations, if you know the basic shape. is a transformed graph of  , which is half a parabola. key points on that original graph are perfect squares for x-values:   etc. ( is not defined for negative numbers)the  outside of the square root means that the square root graph will shift 3 units up. it takes all the original outputs of the square root function and adds 3 to it.  all the y-coordinates shift three units up. so those points turn to   etc.
