You look at the tenths place(the number behind the decimal) then you look at the the numbers behind it if the one directly behind it is more than five then you round it up one so like this would be 4.000 because u leave the number in front alone until you have figured the other things out so leave the three alone for right now the look at the nine then look at the eight it is more than five so you round the nine to ten(which would be 4) then turn everything else to zeros so the answer is 4.000 or just 4
