If f is a function, then f(3x) = 3f(x)

Say you are a function names sethers. you take money and you give me bread. so you are sethers(money). now if i give you 3 times the money, you would give me sethers(3*money) amount of bread. but if for the same amount of money, you give me 3 times the bread you would usually give, that would be 3 * sethers(money).as an example let y = x^2. f(3x) = (3x)^2 = 9x^2 3 f(x) = 3* x^2 = 3x^2. the answers can be damatically different if not used right.~ hope this !
