2. the values of identity and freedom are not unique to particular times and places. as hughes expresses in "dream variations," all humans want to be able to develop their identities in freedom. what do you think it takes for a society to enable each individual to be true to his or her identity

In a society it's just not one person or religion or ethnic community that inhabits, rather it's the collective of all this put together that makes the society beautiful. So respecting respecting one another culture, habits, belief etc. and preserving every identities with equal freedom will help improve this. If the society follows and respect this basics, then that society will be ideal for everyone to be true to his identity creation a mosaic beautiful society.
