1/12 of the people who want the street renamed also want the coach to be mayor.

Multiply the two fractions 1/2 and 1/12 to get
(1/2)*(1/12) = (1*1)/(2*12) = 1/24
notice how I'm simply multiplying straight across: the numerators multiply together; the denominators multiply together

So 1/24 of the fans want the coach to be mayor
