Describe the difference between the graph of a set of discrete data and the graph of a set of continuous data

On a graph, discrete data means that we are not connecting points on our graph or our coordinate plane so they will be isolated points. When we have isolated points, we have whole number values so we don't have fractions or decimals included.

Continuous data includes points that are connected so we have fractions or decimals. In the image provided, I have attached a line graph and it would be continuous data since the points are connected.
