Rate of change may be computed by subtracting y1 from y2 and subtracting x1 from x2. You then divide the difference of y (y3)by the difference of x (x3). Based on this formula, you take y2  or 96 (which is in the second row on the table) and subtract y1 which is 68 from it. You then get the answer of 28. Next, you subtract x1 from x2. This is 4 minus 2. The resulting answer is 2. You take these two values and divided the first by the other. In other words, 28 divided by 2. The resulting answer is 14. Therefore, the rate of change is $14 per hour. To get the initial fee to rent the boat, you take y1, which is $68 for 2 hours and subtract $14 from it. Thus, to rent the boat for 1 hour, you have to pay $54. You subtract another $14 from this to get the initial fee (which is for 0 hours). The initial fee is $40.

The first one, i believe, would be correct. all the others have one thing in common, and that's that they have repeating numbers. in the second one, x and y have repeating 6's and 3's, and in the third, x and y have repeating 6's as well. in the last one, there are repeating 3's. the first one has no repeating numbers.
