Total number of coins = 193
Let us assume the number coins in the red jar = x
Then
The number of coins in the blue jar = x + 27
Then
x + x + 27 = 193
2x + 27 = 193
2x = 193 - 27
2x = 166
x = 166/2
   = 83
So there are 83 coins in the red jar
Now
