What is the difference between the greatest amount and least amount of gasoline used

The differance is how much is ibetween. the greatest amount of gas is the most you have which is compared to no gasoline or a little tiny drop.

Regardless, I'll try to explain what I assume from the wording of the question.

The mathematical term "difference between" implies that you're essentially trying to figure out how much greater/larger/more the greatest amount of gasoline is compared to the least amount of gasoline used.

To do this, really, all you need to do is subtract the least amount of gasoline used from the greatest amount of gasoline used.

〜 An example would be:
Say the greatest amount of gasoline used was 50 and the least amount of gasoline used was 20.
You would do 
50 - 20 = 30
So you could say that the difference between the greatest amount of gasoline used and the least amount of gasoline used was 30.
