There is clearly very long strengths and weaknesses of these contrasting positions. If you can't feel positive about yourself, you will keep having several problems when you start to love others. The feeling that you are not enough, starts to turn negative. The feeling that they don't love you, start to come. The major weakness is the positive self esteem overvalue ourselves and undervalue others. Loving yourself will not always mean that you end up being more focused on yourself and not caring of much values of others. You can't love people first if you don't love yourself.
